Biography
Samuel was born in 1869. Son of Allen Jeffers and Sallie Holland
In 1870 the Jeffers family lived in Screven, Georgia, Post Office - Halcyondale. [1] Allen Jeffers (54) Mill Hand with wife Sarah Jeffers (38) with children Mariann Jeffers (11), William Jeffers (4), Joe Jeffers (4), Peter Jeffers, May Jeffers (1/12) with Office Jeffers (22) Carpenter.
Samuel Jeffers married Effie Belle Blackburn on 8 December 1893 at Screven County, Georgia. [2]
In 1910 the Jeffers family lived in Ogeechee & Sylvania Road, Militia District 35, Screven, Georgia. [3] Sam J Jeffers (41) Farmer with wife Effie Belle Jeffers (33) married 17 years, 6 children born / living and children Allen Jeffers (14), Lubby J Jeffers (13), Regened Jeffers (8), Joseph Jeffers (4), Otto Jeffers (2) and Omie Lee Jeffers (0).
He passed away in 1925, married aged 56 [4] and was buried at the Double Heads Baptist Church Cemetery. [5]
