Thomas was born in 1866. He was the son of William Jeffers and Ann McFadden.
Thomas' mother passed away in 1870 due to complications with his brother John's birth. In 1871 his father William Jeffers was an outpatient at Melbourne Hospital and the children were Neglected. As a result he and his younger siblings were made Wards of the State on 25 January 1871 at Ballarat for 3 years. On 25 May 1874 Thomas was fostered by Caroline Carter in Avoca, Victoria. His brothers David and Alexander were also living in Avoca in the late 1870s. [1]
Thomas Jeffers married Dominica Anna Salvana in Avoca, Victoria in 1889. [2]
Dominica passed away in 1902. [3]
In 1905 Thomas Jeffers, farmer, lived in Highland Plains, Goombungee, Darling Downs, Queensland. [4]
He passed away in 1942 [5] and he was buried at the Drayton and Toowoomba Cemetery. [6]
