Alan Willis (Jeffery) Thicke AKA Alan Thicke was born on 1 Mar 1947 in Kirkland Lake, Ontario, Canada, the son of William Elgar Jeffery (1923 - 1999) and Shirley Isabel (Greer) Thicke (1928 - 1999).
He was a Canadian-born actor, songwriter, and talk show host, best known for his role as the father on the American TV show Growing Pains.
He was inducted into Canada's Walk of Fame in 2013.[1]
Alan died on 13 Dec 2016 in Burbank, California, USA aged 69.[2]
