1851 and 1861 Census: 5 Elizabeth Terrace, Stoke Newington, Borough Finsbury

1871 Census: Maried to Edith and living with his wife and children in Lordship Cottages, Lordship Road (Hackney) Stoke Newington. He remains in this addres also for 1881, 1891, 1901 and 1911 census.

They were living in a house with 5 rooms and a kitchen and were 10 people. The 1911 census says that Richard and his wife had 10 children, 2 of whom had died. Also staying with them in 1911 was their great nephew Leonard Jeffs born 1906 in Woolwich. I have not yet found which family he belongs to.

His occupation is given as Carpenter, then Master Carpenter and Builder, self employed.

He seems to have died in 1917 but I cannot substantiate this yet.
