DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Joseph by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Joseph:
More probable that Peter and Sarah were his grandparents. Parents appear to have been Joseph and Hannah Marshall (hence son's name). Marriage recorded in Boston records: April 3, 1710. Can be found at RaysPlace.com, Record Commissioners Report #150. If Peter died in 1707 he couldn't have been this Joseph's father.
mother is Sarah Jenkins (Jones)
