David William Jenkins husband of Blodwyn Phyllis Jenkins, of 46 Belmont Avenue, Hereford, England. Injured 27 July 1942, at Royal Ordnance Factory, Rotherwas, Hereford, England this was due to enemy action; died the following day of injuries sustained during an air raid on Royal Ordnance Factory, Rotherwas, Hereford died at General Hospital Hereford, England.

He was a Munitions Foreman at the Royal Ordnance Factory, Rotherwas, Hereford, England he was working when it was bombed by a German Aircraft as a result he sustained severe injuries and died of his wounds later the next day in Hereford General Hospital.

This was on the 27th July 1942.
