From the Edwin Walton Robinson application for the Sons of the American Revolution, Edwin's lineage includes a Catherine Anderson (d. 1837) and her husband John Nolan (d. 1804), and their daughter Jane Nolan (m. 1821, d. 1841) and Jane's husband Mason Jones (d. 1839). This aligns with the names in the will of Sterling.[3]
