William Jenkins was born on 29 Jul 1865 in Wallaroo Bay, birth registered in Adelaide, South Australia, Australia. His parents were Evan Jenkins and Sarah Spencer.^[1]

He married Edna Mary Stutley on 22 Oct 1891 in Adelaide, South Australia. According to the marriage registration, his father was Evan Jenkins and hers was John Stutley.^[2][3]

Edna and William lived in Parkside (at least in the latter part of their lives) William died in September 1924 at Parkside < South Australian Deaths Registration Database 473/359/> and was fondly remembered in a host of In Memoriam notices by his family the following year < Chronicle (Adelaide, SA) 3 Oct 1925 Page 58/>
