Charles married first Elizabeth Naylor (relict of Worlich Westwood), daughter of William Naylor in 1702.[1]
He married secondly Jane (possibly Latimer) who is said to be the mother of Charles Junior.[2]
He married third, Hannah Chandler (this was her fouth marriage) about 1737.[3]

He obtained a certificate from the court for 300 acres on account of having imported into the country six persons,
viz.,
Charles Jenings,
Mary Jenings,
John Stanbury,
Charles Jenings,
Charles Ball and
Lewis, a negro.
Occupation
He succeeded his father as clerk, but in 1720 he was removed by Gov. Spotswood, and Henry Irwin was made clerk.[4]
