Note NI79DOUGLAS COUNTY, MO OBITUARY BOOK;
April 2,1896
Died-On Thursday night, March 20th, 1896, three miles east of Rome in Springcreek township, of slow typhoid fever, Mrs. James Turner, at the age of forty years. The remains were buried in Walnut Grove cemetery on Saturday March 28th. Mrs. Turner was one of the most highly respected and best loved women of that part of the county. She will be missed more than any other woman of that neighborhood."
