Mary (Jennings) Batte lived in Virginia.

Mary Jennings was born about 1634 in Henrico County, Virginia to William Jennings.[citation needed]

Research Notes

Mary has previously been shown on WikiTree as wife of Thomas Batte and mother of two of his children. This relationship is found on some unsourced trees on the web.[1] It is known that Thomas married someone with the first name Mary, but her family origins are unclear. In the past, Mary Randolph has also been shown on WikiTree as Thomas's wife. See Thomas's profile.

On March 30, 2015, Hannah (Grendon) Jennings was removed as Mary Jennings' mother. (Information on Hannah's page shows that she was married to a Thomas Jennings, not William.

On October 6, 2022, Thomas Jennings (abt.1615-1663) was removed as Mary Jenning's father (see comments), which also removed Thomas Jennings (abt.1649-aft.1684) as her half-sibling.

Thomas Jennings (abt.1615-1663) should be removed as father until this profile is cleaned up and sourced.

removed & added research note. Also switch project manager from Virginia Project to US Southern Colonies Project (Virginia had picked this one up while US Southern Colonies Project was dormant - we're still working on transferring the pre-USA profiles back to USSCP).

Because of the uncertainties, which have been flagged up for some time, I have removed Thomas Batte, https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Batte-58, as Mary's husband, and added a research note.

Jennings-2294 and Jennings-2661 appear to represent the same person because: Hi! The information's a bit sparse, but what's there matches. Do you have any other information on your Mary that would better indicate whether or not these profiles should be merged? Thanks! Liz

I believe this Mary Jennings was shown as the mother of Thomas Batte-127 (which was merged with Batte-101, whose mother was shown as Mary Randolph)
