Charles Jennings (1641-1701) born in Henrico, Virginia cannot possibly have been the son of John Jennings (1615-1678) & Mary (Seward) Jennings (1620-aft.1670) because they did not wed until after 1663 and it was at least a 2nd or 3rd marriage for both. Furthermore, John and Mary never lived in Henrico during the time of their marriage. ^[3]
