Biography
Ellen Jennings was born about 1858. She is the sixth daughter of William Jennings, contractor of Nelson, New Zealand[1]and Elizabeth Gradley.[2]
She married Herbert Donkin on 4 September 1871 at All Saint's Church, Nelson.[3][4]
She died on 12 January 1890 at her mother's residence in Cambria Street, Nelson, New Zealand[5][6] aged 38 years old.[7]
She bequeathed her estate to her son Ernest Herbet Donkin.[8]
