George was born in 1846.
Arrived 17 May 1950 on the barque "Constantinople" with mother Elizabeth Townsend Jennings. Had left London on 27 Dec 1849
1851 Malcom and Elizabeth Brown and son George stayed on Kawau Island for about 2 years after the marriage, by which time copper mining was on the wane.
19 Jan 1856 George's parents, Malcolm and Elizabeth Brown drowned in a return crossing in a sailboat from Whangarei Heads to Parua Bay. George Jennings was taken in by Thomas Henry.
2 Feb 1863 George married Mary Grogan at St Patrick's Cathedral. Auckland, New Zealand with his surname spelt Gennings on the registration.
14 May 1920 George Jennings ... He passed away in 1920.
