Sarahan Casey Jernigan was born in ca. 1825, in North Carolina. She was the daughter of Lewis Jernigan and Zilpha Sanderford.
At age 24, she was living in Windsor, Bertie County, North Carolina with the David Rice family.[1]
She is thought to have died in 1881,in Hamilton, Indiana.
