Edward A. Jewett, 82, Tacoma, died Thursday, Dec. 25, 1997. He was born Oct. 4, 1915 in Olds, Alberta, Canada. Ed was a retired car inspector for the Beltline Railroad. He is survived by his wife, Helen, Tacoma; daughter Shirley Stolarski, Crofton, Maryland; son Robert Jewett, Loveland, Colorado; sister Evelyn Fisher, Puyallup, Washington; 3 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild. Viewing will be Monday, 1-7pm, Fir Lane Funeral Home. Services will be Tuesday, Dec. 30th, 11:00 am at Fir Lane Chapel. Interment Fir Lane Memorial Park. Friends who wish may give to the American Heart or Lung Associations, or Northwest Trek, in Edward's name.
