SUSANNAH JEWETT (Nathaniel, Francis, Ezekiel, Maximilian, Edward), was born in Bradford, Massachusetts, April 7, 1742. She married in Hollis, New Hampshire, May 22, 1766, Richard Pierce, son of Ebenezer and Mary (Warner) Pierce. He was born in Groton, Massachusetts, January 8, 1739.

Richard Pierce was one of the original grantees of Plymouth, New Hampshire, and was a soldier in the Revolution. He died Dec. 16, 1812. She died Jan. 31, 1823. Both buried in the Church Cemetery, Hollis.
Of their large family only one, Daniel, remained in Hollis. The other sons removed early to Vermont, some of them settling in Huntington.
