JOHANNA JEWETT (Joseph, Joseph, Edward), was born in
Rowley, Mass., April 12, bapt. April 16, 1693. [1]
She married (Pub. April 8, 1710). Lieut. Jonathan Pickard, son of John and Sarah (Smith) Pickard.[2] He was born in Rowley, , 1687, and died there Jan. 25,
1734-5. She died there July 26, 1748.[3]
"His will dated July 15, 1746, proved Sept. 26, 1748, mentions: only
son Jonathan, eldest daughter Ruth wife of Eliphalet Jewett, youngest
daughter Lucy Pickard and daughters, Johanna Burpee and Sarah Noyes
wife of Benjamin Noyes." (Essex Inst. Col.)
