2nd Lieutenant John Jewett served with 5th Massachusetts Bay Provincial Regiment (1775), Continental Army during the American Revolution.
Daughters of the American Revolution
John Jewett is a DAR Patriot Ancestor, A062747.

He was a soldier and served with distinction in the War of the Revolution. "John Juet, 2d Lieutenant, Capt. Andrew Haskell's Haskell-1864 5th MA co.; return of officers of Col Thomas Marshall's regt., endorsed 'Field Officers of the 2d regt. to be raised for the defence of Boston May 8th (1776).' "
