The family moved from croft to croft, in different parishes, as was common at this time. They lived in Barva[2] and then Sättran in Gillberga.[3][4] In 1851 they moved on to the village of Dunker in the parish by the same name.[5] In 1857 they left for Julita.[6] In Julita they settled on the farm Hedäng.[7]
In 1864 Anna Lotta moved out from the household to serve in Botten Västergård.[8][9] It is noted that she had a stillborn child out of wedlock. In 1869 Anna Lotta Jansdotter moves back to her mother, now living in Berg.[10][11][12] After the death of her mother in 1871, Anna Lotta Jansdotter moved to Hedensö in Näshulta parish.[13]
When she married the stablehand Lars Fredrik Eriksson 21 February 1875, she was written into the book as Anna Charlotta Jonsson (she has the right birth date, so is the same person).[14] They moved to Eskilstuna after about a month. The Charlotta seems to be a hypercorrection from the vicar; and the Jonsson also just his "modernistic" idea. She does not seem to have used that name in any other place.
Anna Lotta and Lars Erik can be followed in the ten-year censuses at SVAR. In 1890 he is a coachman in Gävle; they have a daughter Elna Charlotta, born in Eskilstuna in 1875, and a son, Karl Filip, born in Arboga in 1878.[15] In 1900 they are in Mariedal outside Skövde with Elna Charlotta.[16] In 1910 Lars Fredrik Jansson is a carpenter in Visby on Gotland, while it is noted that the whereabouts of his wife, Anna Lotta Jansdotter, are not known.[17] At the same time Anna Lotta Jansdotter in Mariedal is noted as a coachman's widow.[18]
1875 Daughter Elna Charlotta born in Eskilstuna 19 June
1876-1879 Lars Fredrik coachman at Ellholmen in Arboga
1878 Son Carl Filip born at Ellholmen 6 May[19][20]
1879-1886 Lars Fredrik coachman at Ekeby gård in Fellingsbro[21]
1897-1917 Mariedal, Skövde. Anna Lotta stays in Mariedal when Lars Fredrik moves to Visby[26][27] Here her surname is changed to Eriksson[28]
In 1917 Anna Lotta Eriksson, born Jansdotter moves from Mariedal in Skövde to Jakobslund in Sollentuna. Her married daughter Elna is on the same page in the book. It is noted that her husband is in Visby since 1908.[29] Anna Lotta died 5 April 1919.

It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Anna Lotta by comparing test results with other carriers of her ancestors' mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Anna Lotta:
With a family that moved so much, Folkräkningar at SVAR is a convenient shortcut. It may be worth another morning's research to follow them in more detail through the church records (although I doubt that we'll find out wherever Anna Lotta went).
