Biography
Birth and Christening
Evert was born April 6, 1903, as the son of the sawmill worker Frans Julius Johansson and his wife Klara, living in the small house called Hamburgin the parish of Klockrike. He was christened April 25 and his godparent was the wife Albertina Vallqvist at Mörbylund.[1]
Childhood
Evert was the first of the couple's children. In November 1905 the small family moved to the parish of Brunneby where they lived in a croft on the estate of Ruda, a former grenadier croft. Another son was born in 1909. In April 1912, the family moved to Klara's birth parish, Kila.[2] They become crofters at the croft Jansberg and there the youngest child was born.[3]

Military Duty
Evert had the military enrollment number 408 42/23,[5] which meant that he was number 408 of the soldier's who enlisted in 1923 at Katrineholm's "rullföringsområde" (enrollment area) in the area of Södermanland.[6] At the time of his enrollment he lived at Bärsta Södergård in the parish of Stigtoma where he worked as a carriage driver. He did his basic training at I10, Södermanland's regiment. His specialty was transporting machine guns. He finished his training in 90 days and came back for training three times before the second world war broke out. During the war he [7]
Occupation
Evert started out as a farmworker and a carriage driver. He later became a lumberjack and a sawmill worker.
Family
In May 1924 Evert fathered the daughter Märta Linnea together with elna Nordström.[8] The couple were married December 26, 1927.[9] First the family lived at Jansberg with Evert and his parents but in 1928 they moved to Eriksborg where they were tenants for two years. The son Åke was born there.[10] Then they moved to Stavgölet in 1930.[11] In 1942 the family moved to the parish of Stigtomta.[12] There they had another son, Kurt.[13]

By 1960 the couple had moved back to the parish of Kila where they lived at Lundäng.[14]
Death
Evert died March 1, 1965.[15]
