Hi Catherine, and welcome to WikiTree! You mentioned your ancestors in England. I wanted to let you know we have a great new project that focuses on the UK here called United Kingdom Project It would be a great place for you to get involved once you have settled into WikiTree.
You may find some of your ancestors are already on WikiTree and the people in the United Kingdom Project will be happy to help you in any way they can.
Thank you so much for joining WikiTree.
Good luck with your research.
You are now a member of the WikiTree Community. Please note
we are trying to build one Collaborative Tree which means
one Profile per person. It is important to ensure no duplicates are
entered as you add any Profiles to WikiTree.
If you need help getting started, check out the Help section
from the Menu, top right.
Head over to the G2G forum.
and take a minute to introduce yourself in the Tree House. You might also want to check out the introductory WikiTree video that a member created.
If you are experiencing a specific problem, you can reach out to our Mentor Team They are a very friendly group of people
Hi, I volunteer to contribute, I joined Wikitree to continue my research on my ancestry through my mother's line. We are descended from James Barker who was born in England, and died 1634 on the ship Mary & John.

If you need to describe an event, heirloom or a location relevant to your research, try Free Space Profiles .
If you run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving these unfortunate situations.
