Note
Note: More research required. In 1870 Susan and her daughter Margaret were living with an Anna Johnson who was the widow of Daniel Johnson. It is possible that Anna was Susan's mother-in-law, and that Susan was married to one of Anna and Daniel's sons. As of the 1860 census, Anna and Daniel had two teenage sons (Susan would have been 20 at the time). They could very well have had older sons, but records are not available for 1850.
Note: There is a headstone in MRCC (Cool Spring) with the inscription "Susan A Johnson b. Conway". This may (or may not) be our Susan.
