Caroline Anne was taken ill and died while the family was in Brooklyn, New York. Caroline Anne's sister Mary Prescilla who was affectionately called "Ma Cash" raised Caroline Anne's children after her death. She was buried 2 March 1882 in The Green-Wood Cemetery, Brooklyn, New York Lot 14278 Section 151. Find a Grave Id#57202792
