Biography

Elizabeth was born about 1629. She passed away on 16 November 1721 in Andover, Essex, Massachusetts.

Research Notes

Did this person even exist? Powhaten, Virginia, removed as birth place; did not exist untill 1777. Death place given as both Andover, Essex, Massachusetts and as Onslow, North Carolina (formed 1734). It is extremely unlikely Elizabeth was born in 1629 and died in 1721 at the age of 92. Since no evidence has been presented showing Elizabeth was ever in either Massachusetts or North Carolina, her (uncertain) death place has been changed to Virginia, where her purported husband, William Maxey Sr. (1626-1656), died. Someone really needs to determine if Elizabeth was a real person. (Strutton-11 15:50, 27 March 2023 (UTC))

Johnson-101271 and Johnson-2274 appear to represent the same person because: Excellent match. But did they both marry William Maxey, Sr.?

Johnson-92566 and Johnson-2274 appear to represent the same person because: These are clearly the same person. Multiple generations of duplicates created along a line of Maxeys. On WIkiTree there should only one instance of each person.
