Mayme Synder Johnson was born on 17 Dec 1897 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States, daughter of William Thomas Mitchell Johnson (1870–1943) and Hattie Pauline Boyd (~1874–~1906).

Mayme married William Morris Wright (born on 6 Nov 1899 in Forsyth, Georgia, United States; son of Julius James Wright and Lena (Bell) Wright). Their daughter was Frances Aileen Wright (1924–1984).

In 1940, Mayme (42) J was in the household of William M Wright in Ward 4, Bluefield, Beaver Pond Magisterial District, Mercer, West Virginia. ^[1]
