Biography

Mary was the daughter of John & Susanna/Susan (Asherst) Johnson

She married first Ephraim Davis in Andover on 29 December, 1660. ^[1] Ephraim Davis, was born about 1623 in Haverhill, Essex, Massachusetts, the son of James Davis and Cicely Thayer Davis. Their children were Stephen, Ephraim II, Mary, Thomas, Jonathan, Joanna, Susanna and Hannah Davis

Ephraim Davis died in 1679, and she married second Edward Clarke on 1 Nov 1682 in MA Bay.^[2]

She later was one of the women accused as a witch in the Salem Witch Trials, but was not convicted.
