Biography
Sarah (Johnson) Bartram immigrated to New England as a child during the Puritan Great Migration (1621-1640).
Sarah was the daughter of John and Mary Heath Johnson;[1] she was baptised at Ware, Hertfordshire, England on January 12, 1624.[2] Her family arrived at New England in 1630 and lived in Roxbury.[3]
Sarah[4](or Hannah?) was married first to Hugh Burt[5]
and second, by July 1653, to William Bartram[6]
The inventory of William Bartam's estate was dated September 8, 1690 at Swansea and "Sarah Bartram the relict...made an oath to the truth of the inventory."[7]
Research Notes
There seems to be wiggle room in proving Sarah as the first wife of Hugh Burt and as the wife of William Bertram:
1982 Essex Genealogist reports that Sarah (as guardian) and William Bertram recorded deeds for Mary and Sarah Burt; this strongly suggests that Sarah, widow of Hugh Burt, married William Bertram.[8]
1992 Douglas Richardson; Hannah was likely the wife of "neighbor Bartrow"; three years old when John Johnson joined the church (1631). [1]
1999 Great Migration definitively states that Sarah Johnson was Hugh Burt's wife.[4]

Johnson-8215 and Johnson-2905 appear to represent the same person because: These two profiles need merging unless one of the PMs can locate a primary
source regarding the profile with Sara's alledged early passing. The current secondary source supporting that Sara's early death isn' t applicable as its a marriage record. She d. as a child. If I can help let me know. Thanks. Leigh Anne
