My last name is Johnson. I have been interested in genealogy for some time but because of work have not had the time to follow thru with developing my family tree. With a name like Johnson I have run into a lot of dead ends. I am now 73 yo and have the time to do research. Both of my parents died young so have not had much help from them. Thanks to Wikitree I recently got a tip that substantiates mu 6times grand father who was born in NC in 1740. I am now on fire to learn more. Recently had DNA analysis. 58% Great Britain and 23% Irish along with a few others.
