Spencer Forrest Johnson, 61, of Pine River, died Friday, April 30, 2004 at St. Joseph?s Medical Center in Brainerd. Spencer was born June 9, 1942 in Hallock, MN son of George and Frances Johnson. He graduated from Hallock High School and then attended the University of Minnesota. He owned and operated a service station in Minneapolis/St. Paul. He moved to Pine River where he did engine repair. He enjoyed fishing, visiting and was a jokester. Spencer is survived by his mother Francis Johnson of Hallock; a sister, Georgine (David Bailey) Edblom of Plymouth; 2 nephews, Mark Edblom of Brooklyn Center and Scott Edblom of Merrill Lynch.

Services will be 2 p.m. at Hallock Presbyterian Church on Wednesday, May 5, 2004 with Reverend Don Woodford officiating with visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Geenwood Cemetery in Hallock. Arrangements entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter. ^[1]
