Biography

James biography is found in Miller's Settlers of Colchester County^[1].

His emigration to Hants County from Ireland with his parents is noted in Esther Clark Wright's Planters and Pioneers^[2]. He was a grantee in Truro, and later moved to Otter Brook (Stewiacke), and then Debert, Londonderry, in Colchester County^[3]

His wife Eleanor O'Brien and son Timothy are noted in Timothy's birth^[4], and marriage records^[5]
