Note NI5Betty and Jr. were divorced about 1986 or 87. We think that she moved to East Texas around Tyler and none of their three children have kept in touch with us after their father died. We know that Regina had two children (Robin and a baby boy) and that Buzz had two girls (no further information on them)

Regina was born in Los Alamos while Jr. was working for the Atomic Energy Laboratory. Buzz was born in Odessa, Texas, and Dana Sue born in Carlsbad, N.M. while Jr. working for potash company.

Junior died of throat cancer or complications from heart disease while in the VA hospital for treatment . When he was in the navy he was overcome by chlorine gas and some lung damage occurred. He was a life guard with the base pool and the accident occurred as he tried to regulate the amount of chemical to use. He was receiving a monthly disability check.

He became a heavy smoker which probably caused his cancer.
