In 1880 they and their children were living in Calcasieu, Rapides Parish, Louisiana. Sarah was suffering from dyspepsia at the time of the census.[1]
She died on 10 March 1888, and was buried in the Occupy No. 1 Cemetery in Glenmora, Rapides Parish.[2]
