Biography
[Deacon] John Johnson (Nathaniel, Isaac, John) was born 29 April 1668, Roxbury, Massachusetts to parents John Johnson (1668-1742) and Mary Smith Johnson (1643-1732) of Roxbury, Massachusetts and later Woodstock, Windham, Connecticut. [1]
He married on 4 April 1689 Margaret "Morriss", [2]
daughter of Edward Morris and Grace Bett Morris of Roxbury, Massachusetts. [1] She was born 25 September 1668 at Roxbury and died 12 August 1750 at Woodstock, Connecticut. [1] Their first several children were born in Roxbury and then the family relocated to Woodstock, Windham county, Connecticut.
