Lloyd, Jr. was a private in the US Army who was KIA near Lembach, France on 14 December 1944, the same day his brother in law Lt. Halloran Soules was KIA over Rangoon Burma. Lloyd was in the class of 1939 of the University of Oregon. Following college, Lloyd worked for National Motor Bearing Co., Inc of Redwood City, CA.
Lloyd was born about 1919. He was the son of Loyd Johnson. Lloyd Jr was a worker at his father's company National Motor Bearing Company after he graduated from the University of Oregon class of 1939. With the outbreak of WW2 Lloyd, Jr., enlisted in the U.S. Army. He fought the Nazis' in France and was Killed in Action at Lembach France on 14 December 1944. The same day that his brother in law, Lt. Halloran Sowles was KIA over Rangoon, Burma.
