Ellen was born circa 1825. She was the daughter of William Johnson and Esther Wilson.
She married circa 1850, John Davis of England.
She died in 1916 in Big Baddeck, Victoria Co., Nova Scotia aged 95 and is buried in Big Baddeck.[1]
There has been no primary sources uncovered that prove Ellen's parentage. However a DNA match discovered in 2021 has confirmed her parents. - gb
Extensive searches for Ellen in the 1901 and 1911 census have proved fruitless.
