Biography

Research Note

I believe this David, who married Mary Carmon and Amelia Newhart, was not the son of Robert and Mary Mills Johnson. Their David was married to Anna Rogers. (https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:33S7-9PK4-3RRN?i=190&cc=1307272&personaUrl=%2Fark%3A%2F61903%2F1%3A1%3AX84C-YYF)

A profile on Ancestry.com indicated David's parents were Thomas W. Johnson and Nancy Valentine but I didn't see anything that linked this David with them.

This Find a Grave profile matches the birth and death dates but the spouse does not (https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/191347466/david-franklin-johnson).

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with David by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with David:
