Biography

Axel William^[1] Johnson was born March 1872^[2] in Sweden.^[2]

He immigrated to the United States in 1882, a child of only about 10 years who must have been travelling with his parents. By 1893, he was a naturalized citizen of the US.^[3]

He married Hilma J. Faulquist.^[4] about 1895.^[5]

Axel died in East Greenwich, Rhode Island on May 17, 1930.^[1]
