John Johnson of Canterbury, son of William Johnson and Alice Forflod, was born about 1531 in Canterbury, Kent County, England. He became a freeman by birth in 1552. He married first Joane Humfrey on 23 May 1551 at St. George's in Canterbury. He was probably buried on 10 May 1658 at St. George's, Canterbury. [1]
