b. co. Northants. makes sense in terms of parents' origins, as well as property in the county ... that some allied families (and/or their associations) have. Example: Wimberleys allied to Welbys and therefore Roberts of Wollaston, co. Northants. (ie... Dame Skipwith. [note that Skipwith mentions a servant named, "John Porter," in her will. Any relation to son John's wife Anne Porter]?).

S1. FamilySearch Tree. John Johnson, born 1564 in Canterbury, Kent, England. Died 4Feb1666 in Wilmington, Kent, England or 4Feb1665 in St. Mary, Whitechapel, Middlesex, England (different person). Parents: Francis Johnson and Elizabeth Thorgood. Married Hannah Throckmorton in 1586 in Wilmington, Kent, England. Children: Capt John Johnson, Abraham, Solomon, Mary, Edmund, Francis. Sources: 1) Ancestry. 2) U.S. and International Marriage Records, 1560-1900. (this hannah is too old to be the second wife of the John of this profile).
Research
There are around 200 FamilySearch trees with similar vital information (note: I looked at a lot of them today and most are wonky with bad data).
Three of the sons commonly attributed to John and Hannah are not likely. 1) Edmund seems to be the son of Davy Johnson. 2) Francis was born in 1638, far too late to be Hannah's child. 3) Capt John Johnson has been disputed to be Hannah's son. But perhaps another John was Hannah's son.

Note that Johnson's first wife Jane Ogle, is *not* the daughter of Robert Ogle, son of Thos. Ogle and Jane Laughton, widow of Robert Leaves, as asserted by the Johnson pedigree published in Green (1906). That Robert Ogle only had one child ... a son.
