Zilpah Johnston was born 1786 in Caswell County, North Carolina. She married James Yancey after the Bond date of June 24, 1811.[1]
James Yancey and Zilpah Johnston had at least the following children;
James Monroe Yancey b: 12 March 1812.
Elizabeth J. Yancey b: 18 May 1815.
Albert Galatin Yancey M.D. b: 03 September 1817.
William Yancey b: 08 May 1820.
Mildred Ann Yancey b: 01 November 1827.
