Biography

Medical Doctor.

Dr. William Johnston was the first professor of mathematics at Marischal College, Aberdeen.^[1]

His daughter, Elizabeth, married Quaker-turned Anglican George Keith (brought up in a Presbyterian household, became a Quaker as a young adult, ended up an Anglican priest).^[2] as his second wife.^[3]
