Biography
Herbert Johnston married in 1894 to Minnie Ellis, daughter of Montague Ellis and Sophia Hill of Collingwood, Nelson. Herbert and Minnie had one daughter born during their marriage, Rosina Evelyn.
Herbert died in 1926 on or before January 12 (burial date) age 69. He is buried at Makaraka cemetery, Gisborne.
