Biography
Julia, fifth daughter of David Johnston and Amelia Hansford. She married Walter Maunsell Stace Esq, son of Colonel Stace R.E. at Christ Church in Nelson in 1871. They settled in Kaikoura where Julia died of Diptheria just 2 years later, aged 24.
