Joseph was born about 1833 to John and Mary Campbell, who were born in Ireland and Scotland respectively [1]. He arrived in America on 10 July 1853 [2]. He remarried to Annie Gall (born 1864) in 1896 [3] after his first wife, Mary Miller, passed away in 1893. He passed away about 1907.
