Biography

Barry Johnston was born in Paddington, London, England in 1949, the son of Brian JOHNSTON and Pauline (Tozer) JOHNSTON. He was educated at Eton College.

He was a member of the British vocal group DESIGN from 1969-1976 and then a broadcaster on Radio KLOA-AM in California, BBC Radio Sussex, BBC Radio Solent, and BBC Radio 5.

He married Fiona (Morrison) JOHNSTON in 1992 and they have two children, Olivia JOHNSTON, born in 1993, and Sam JOHNSTON, born in 1994.

Since 1993 he has been an audiobook producer, author and book editor, and runs Barn Productions and Barn Music.
