Susannah Jolley was born May 10, 1851 in Cleveland County, North Carolina, United States, the daughter of Jesse Jolley and Sarah (Hughes) Jolley. She was the sister of Britt A. Jolley, William Jolley, James Jolley, Stanford Jolley, Arcena Jolley, Jesse L. Jolley, Nancy C. Jolley, Nancy C. Jolley, Kezia Jolley, Polly M. Jolley, Crawford Jolley, Elizabeth Jolley, Lucinda Jolley and Lenora Jolley.
Susannah married Thomas Jefferson Hamrick before 1874 in Cleveland County, North Carolina. They had the at least the following children:
- Lewis Avero Hamrick (1874 - 1941)
- Josephus Dexter Hamrick (1876 - 1953)
- Eva Etta Hamrick Hicks (1883 - 1964)
Susannah died on Jun. 6, 1927 and was buried at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery in Mooresboro, Cleveland County, North Carolina, USA.[1]
