James Jolliff and Hannah, daughter of Dennis Springer, were married near Winchester, Va., and shortly after moved to near Uniontown, Penn . . , where he remained to the time of his death, which occurred about the year 1771. His widow subsequently married Charles Harryman about the year 1773, by whom she had one son-- Job Harryman--born February 23rd, 1774. (The record of this family is copied from their Family Bible, which was printed in Edinburg, Scotland, in the year 1745. Said Bible is now in possession of Oliver P. Jolliff.) The following record will include the descendants of William, eldest son of James and Hannah Jolliff, of whom we are the descendants.
