Biography

Thomas was born in 1685 in Henrico, Virginia. He was the son of Thomas Jones II and Martha (Tanner) Haskins.^[1]

When Thomas was about 30 he married Mary Mitchell in 1715. The couple had 12 children: Thomas Jones, Samuel Jones, Repps Jones, Priscilla Jones, Lucretia Jones, Martha Jones, Lucy Jones, Catesby Jones, Anne Jones, Stephen Jones, Armistead Jones and Sara Jones.^[2][3]

In 1755 Thomas (age about 70) was living in Virginia .^[2][4][3]
