Laura was born 6 Mar 1862 probably in Cedar Co., MO. I think there was a mistake on her tombstone as one source had the date as 8 Nov 1862 and that she died 6 Mar 1906. Either that dates were reversed or she died on her birthday. In the 1900 census it lists her birth as Mar 1862. Source: Kenny & Polly Melton, 4/02/2009.

We previously had her birthdate as 8 Nov 1862 in Polk Co., MO. I have changed the date to Mar 6, 1862. mgp
